After the first film trailer and poster for the Beauty And The Beast live-action film revealed very little, Disney has finally released some official images of the remake.
Emma Watson and Dan Stevens grace the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly as Belle and the Beast, and other publicity shots reveal even more about what can we expect when one of Disney’s most adored fairy tales comes to life.
Watson looks divine as she twirls in Belle’s iconic yellow ballgown, and is even more convincing in the conservative blue dress the character wears for most of the original 1991 cartoon film.
We also get a first proper look at Mrs Potts, Lumiere, Cogsworth and Plumette. We have to admit they don’t quite live up to our fond memories of the loveable cartoon characters, but we’ll withhold judgement until a full trailer is released.
Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor, Luke Evans, Dan Stevens and Emma Thompson, is coming to cinemas on March 17.
