Happy Lunar New Year<\/a>! We\u2019re still floating through Aquarius season but the main event this week is the new moon in Aquarius (aka Lunar New Year \u201329 January AEST and GMT). This one is poised to inspire huge transformations and far-reaching goals. If your January 1 resolutions never quite got off the ground\u00a0 (or maybe you took a little tumble in Spicy Marg town) consider this your invitation to start over.<\/p>\n

Aquarius energy is all about change and evolution. It\u2019s also synonymous with technology. If you\u2019re struggling with a longer-term issue or can\u2019t find motivation, there\u2019s never been a better moment to lean on AI (seriously)<\/p>\n

The other major influence this week is Venus and Neptune getting cosy, all with the support of Uranus and Mars. This is epic, out-of-the-box romantic territory. Don\u2019t be surprised if you find yourself reconnecting with an old flame, and talking into the night as you ponder, \u201cHow crazy would it be to move to London to be with him?\u201d \u00a0It’s big and exciting and optimistic \u2013 a nice reprieve from all the irritation and burnout that Mars retrograde has been stirring up (which, by the way, it is still doing but this week is overshadowed by other stuff).<\/p>\n

Friends and alliances are a major theme this week. As the Aquarian energy \u2013 which loves <\/em>\u00a0a group activity, btw \u2013 inspires you to get out and get social, there\u2019s also a great window to forge some new connections. Making friends as an adult is extremely awkward but if you were in the market to broaden you horizons, this is the week to do it. Team sports, trivia nights and short courses (like yoga teacher training) are all excellent options if the thought of asking an acquaintance out for a coffee gives you the ick.<\/p>\n

TAURUS AND TAURUS RISING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clarity abounds this week as Aquarius season heats up and energises the foundations in your life. Long-term plans especially around your career are primed to take shape. If you haven\u2019t got any, start your vision board now. Update your LinkedIn, send some connection requests, or make time with your boss to talk about your long-term goals. You may not get a juicier moment this year to plant the seed for something new; so don\u2019t be shy! Pay attention to the green lights and go for it.<\/p>\n

GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING<\/strong><\/p>\n

If your feet are feeling especially itchy this week, it\u2019s not just you, it\u2019s in the sky. With the Aquarian vibes making you feel extra restless; you\u2019ll be hard pressed not <\/em>to fall down a rabbit hole on traveltok. The good news is, this week is perfect for actually making plans, getting clarity and setting things in motion. Where do you want to go this year? Is it a holiday, or something more?
