Taylor Swift!<\/a> Beyonc\u00e9!<\/a> Chappell Roan!<\/a> Sabrina Carpenter!<\/a> Girl power was in full effect as the stars of music hit L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2, for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards<\/a>. The night proved to be a stunning display of artistic talent and the music was simply the cherry on top! There was no shortage of electrifying performances and equally wow-worthy dresses<\/a>… but it was the head-turning hair and makeup that commanded our attention.<\/p>\n

Retro beauty moves \u2014 from Old Hollywood hair sets to ’60s rimmed lids and ’70s Cher hair \u2014 were the top trends that dominated along with some decidedly modern twists on barely-there makeup statements including bleached brows and new neutral smoky eyes. Here, our favorite looks on the Grammys red carpet.<\/p>\n

Gracie Abrams<\/h3>\n

A center-parted sleek bob and smoked-out lids gave the Secret of Us<\/i> singer an ethereal vibe. Hairstylist Bobby Eliot<\/a> relied on a few cool tools to create the glassy ‘do. First, he smoothed out damp hair with Tangle Teezer’s The Ultimate Detangler<\/a> brush. Then he finger-combed Briogio Style+Treat Yuzu+Plum Oil Full Miracle Styling Foam from roots through ends and layered Briogio Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Cr\u00e8me. It was then time to rough-dry with Wavytalk’s Turblow Pro<\/a>. Once the hair was about 80% dry, he finished the style using Wavytalk’s Heatwave Pro<\/a> “to create a high-gloss finish.” A swipe of the Cool Curl<\/a> helped to “slightly bevel” ends. For that angelic glow, it’s no surprise that a device also helped achieve luminosity. Makeup artist Emily Cheng prepped Abrams’ skin with the Solawave 4-in-1 Radiant Renewal Skincare Wand<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leave it to the brit singer \u2014 who has a whopping seven nominations \u2014 to give pumped-up neutral makeup a decidedly brat twist with a monochromatic toffee lid. Devil-may-care “lived-in gothic curls” done by hairstylist Bryce Scarlett complemented the look. He prepped hair with John Frieda Dream Crls Curl Reviver Mousse<\/a> at the roots “for control and lift,” then ran through “a generous amount of John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Serum<\/a> and distributed evenly with a comb. To heighten texture, he blow dried using the Laifen Swift Special diffuser hair dryer.<\/a> After curling sections, he set the look with a spritz of John Frieda Frizz Ease Moisture Barrier Hairspray<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Willow Smith<\/h3>\n

The multi-hyphenate’s makeup artist Ernesto Casillas<\/a> lined her lips with Dior’s Rouge Dior Contour in #512 Wild Brown<\/a> before filling in with Dior Addict Lip Glow in #020 Mahogany<\/a> for a chic slick lip that accented Smith’s grills. As for her “chic, off-the-shoulder afro,” stylist Vernon Francois<\/a> dabbed Olaplex No.9 Bond Protector<\/a> through mid-shafts to ends to enhance “movement and softness,” before fluffing into shape. He finished the look by “gently grazing the ends” with Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil<\/a> for subtle definition.<\/p>\n

Stunning in her trademark matte red lip to match her red Vivienne Westwood structured mini, the Tortured Poets Department <\/i>nominee turned heads.<\/p>\n

With raven micro bangs drawing attention to bleached brows and mauve lids, the Shallow<\/i> icon added goth edge to the evening.<\/p>\n

Redefining no makeup-makeup, this Girl on Fire<\/i> stunned with barely-defined eyes, glowing skin and deep red lips.<\/p>\n

Retro fabulous! Color-blocked locks and an extended cat-eye with chestnut creases lent the Wrecking Ball <\/i>singer a \u201860s vibe. Cyrus’ hairstylist Bob Recine created the straight style with a “double bang” to show off her natural length that runs down her back. He fortified strands with Nexxus Prep & Protect Heat Defense Spray<\/a> before blow-drying hair with a flat Mason Pierson brush. He sprayed each section with Nexxus XXL Volume Medium Hold Hairspray<\/a> to every dried section “to give hair that lasting straight look.” The finishing touch? A whisper-light coat of Nexxus Repair & Nourish Ultra Lightweight Hair Oil<\/a> to add weightless shine and movement.<\/p>\n

With fluttery lashes popping out over Lennon sunglasses and toasty-lined lips, the Birds of a Feather<\/em> crooner brought her original look to the party.<\/p>\n

Swoops of mini braids and a silvery smoky eye with mega lashes set the rapper \u2014 a Grammy winner! \u2014 apart.<\/p>\n

Making eyes! The gutsy singer rocked her signature winged liner softened by mega-long flutterly lashes. Her longtime makeup artist Melissa Hernandez<\/a> used Lanc\u00f4me Id\u00f4le Liner in 01 Glossy Black<\/a> and the brand’s new Lash Id\u00f4le Flutter Extension Mascara<\/a> to achieve the ’90s-inspired look.<\/p>\n

Bringing the drama! The Pink Pony Club<\/i> singer \u2014 and six-time Grammy nominee \u2014 looked like a painted doll rocking her signature makeup look and flowing ginger hair with a feather topper. The phenom’s hair pro Dom Forletta worked with her hair “freshly air-dried and unwashed for a more natural texture.” He worked Amika’s Perk Up Dry Shampoo<\/a> through the roots “to wake up the hair.” Then he applied Amika’s Superfruit Star Lightweight Styling Oil<\/a> to the ends before curling sections on the Wavytalk Curlmaker Pro<\/a>. To “amp up the volume and length,” Forletta added some pre-curled and styled Bellami Silk Seam Clip-in Hair Extensions in Cinnamon Mocha<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another newcomer to the Grammys, the Espresso singer was also nominated for six statues. The pop princess channeled old Hollywood with a pin-curled undone updo and glowing cheeks courtesy of Carolina Gonzalez<\/a> using Armani Beauty. For the “baby angel with a touch of romance” look, Gonzales gave Carpenter’s complexion a hyper-luminous glow with Luminous Silk Foundation in shades 5.1 and 5.9<\/a>, then added a sweet pop of color to apples with Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in 53<\/a>, blending up and out towards temples. To achieve the retro ‘do, hair pro Evanie Fausto <\/a>prepped strands with Redken Quick Blowout<\/a> from roots to ends to boost smoothness, then worked Redken Stay High Mousse<\/a> throughout and Redken Root Lifter<\/a> and the crown before blowdrying with the L’Or\u00e9al Professionnel AirLight Pro.<\/a> Once the hair was dry, she created pin curls, misting them with Redken Control Hair Spray<\/a> to set.<\/p>\n

The nominee for Best R&B Song of the Year’s makeup pro Diana Shin<\/a> prepped her skin with Chanel No.1 de Chanel Revitalizing Serum<\/a> and Revitalizing Lotion<\/a> before playing up her eyes with Chanel Le Crayon Kh\u00f4l Intense Pencil in Noir<\/a>, Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in Candeur et Exp\u00e8rience<\/a> and Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Deeper Well stunner’s neutral look was intentional: Makeup artist Moani Lee was inspired by the heritage of the American west, with lots of “dusty browns, golden bronze hues and sun-kissed elements.” The pro added dimension with Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Contour Wand in Medium<\/a> then punched up cheeks with the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk Peach Pop<\/a>. For the fleshy lip, she lined lips with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nud<\/a>e before filling in with Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow
