Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin<\/a> have always been one of Hollywood’s most private couples. From the most subtle debut of their relationship back in 2017 to a barely-there engagement announcement<\/a>, the duo have kept tight-lipped about their romance since the start. So when breakup rumours<\/a> began swirling, we didn’t have the tells\u2014diminished social posting, unfollowings, cryptic quotes, etc\u2014that we’d typically rely on. But this week, fans were soothed by sightings of Johnson and Martin embarking on a stroll through a park in Mumbai, India, on Tuesday, January 21.<\/p>\n

The actress and the Coldplay frontman appeared to effortlessly enjoy their time together as they explored the country Martin is currently touring around for the British band’s Music of the Spheres World Tour.<\/p>\n

The outing (see pictures here<\/a>) comes a few months after the Daily Mail<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0TMZ<\/em> published reports of a breakup last August. Although both publications cited anonymous sources, a representative of the Madame Web<\/em><\/a> actress came forward to denounce the gossip and set the story straight.<\/span><\/p>\n

On August 16, a spokesperson told\u00a0E! News<\/em><\/a>\u00a0that the breakup rumours were \u201cnot true,\u201d adding, \u201cThey are happily together.\u201d\u00a0 Johnson was also spotted without her an emerald engagement ring while in Malibu<\/p>\n

Despite laying low with their high-profile romance\u2014which has been going strong since 2017\u2014the pair have shared the odd bit of insight here and there.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been together for quite a while,\u201d Johnson, 35, told\u00a0Elle UK<\/em><\/a> during a 2021 interview. \u201cAnd we go out sometimes but we both work so much that it\u2019s nice to be at home and be cozy and private. Most of the partying takes place inside my house.\u201d<\/p>\n

In another profile<\/a>, Johnson candidly discussed her role as \u201cstepmother\u201d to the two children Martin shares with ex-Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love those kids like my life depends on it,” she responded when asked if she liked being a stepmother. “With all my heart.”<\/p>\n

Martin, 47, reflected on balancing work and personal life during an interview with\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/a>. <\/em>He described Johnson as one of his \u201cbest friends\u201d and emphasised their mutual preference to keep their relationship \u201cprecious and
