The stars have begun arriving at the 2025 Golden Globe awards<\/a> held inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Now in its 82nd<\/sup> year, the annual spectacle heralds the beginning of award season where Angelina Jolie<\/a>, Nicole Kidman<\/a> and Tilda Swinton<\/a> will go head-to-head for the Best Actress in a Motion Drama gong. Notably, Golden Globe-nominee Margaret Qualley floated atop the red carpet in a heavenly white gown from Chanel. With an embellished square neck, black sequinned waist tie and cascading tiers of tulle, Qualley’s gown choice today was a more formal take on the many Chanel numbers<\/a> she wore to the premieres of her acclaimed body horror film The Substance<\/a>. <\/em>Co-starring fellow Golden Globe nominee Demi Moore<\/a>, the movie sees Moore play Elizabeth Sparkle, an ageing Hollywood actress-turned-aerobics-workout-host who gets fired by her vulgar network boss (played by Dennis Quaid) because she is now deemed \u2018too old\u2019. Somehow, Elizabeth gets involved in a body enhancement program known as The Substance. After many injections, Elizabeth goes into a state of hibernation and a younger version of herself is born in Sue (played by Margaret Qualley<\/a>).<\/p>\n

With brushed-up brows, a girlish headband and perfectly primed skin which showed her freckles, Qualley added another layer of sweetness by bringing her dad, Paul J. Qualley, as her date to the today\u2019s event. Her husband, music producer Jack Antonoff<\/a>, is reportedly sick at home.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s been 20 years [since Dad was last here with my mum, Andie MacDowell<\/a>],\u201d Qualley told a reporter on the carpet.<\/p>\n

Just last week, it was announced Qualley will star in Happy Gilmore 2<\/em>, a role she said she \u201cbegged \u201dstar Adam Sandler for. Yes, nearly 30 years since it released, the hockey player-turned-golfing sensation is getting a restart.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the best thing that\u2019s ever happened to me, it\u2019s my favourite movie of all time,\u201d says Qualley who confirmed she doesn\u2019t have any scenes with unlikely costar Travis Kelce. \u201cI’ve got a very small part. I begged for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The only thing more interesting than the red carpet is this year\u2019s goodie bags. Nine attendees are set to receive a three-night stay at a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos valued at US$507,492 (AU$817,191). Others will open their bags to find a trip to Finland to see the northern lights valued at US$48,000 (AU$77,000), a US$40,000 (AU$64,000) stem cell facelift, or a \u201cdance-focused workout and wellness experience\u201d valued at US$15,000 (AU$24,000).<\/p>\n
