When Zendaya arrives at any Hollywood event, you can guarantee she’s serving a look worthy of headlines. But at the 2025 Golden Globes<\/a>\u00a0yesterday, it wasn’t just the actress’ striking appearance making news.<\/p>\n

Styled by image architect Law Roach<\/a>, the Challengers<\/em><\/a> star stunned as usual on the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton<\/a> strapless burnt orange gown and Bulgari<\/a> accessories. Her look was so distracting, in fact, that a notable piece of jewellery almost went amiss\u2014if only it weren’t a blinding diamond ring on her engagement finger.<\/p>\n

Yes, that’s right. The 28-year-old nonchalantly debuted some big news: an engagement to her boyfriend of over three years, Tom Holland<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Though the two haven’t commented on the news themselves\u2014and fans did wonder if the accessory was merely a rebellious sartorial statement from the actress\u2014sources have confirmed the news to Page Six<\/a>,<\/em> revealing that the proposal was a surprise to Zendaya.<\/p>\n

\u201cTom and Zendaya had discussed marriage over the years, but Zendaya had no idea he was planning to propose,\u201d the insider told the outlet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey both value their privacy, so the proposal was something Tom wanted to keep private as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source also added that Holland asked Zendaya’s parents for their blessing before getting down on one knee.<\/p>\n

Having met on the set of the\u00a0Spiderman<\/em>\u00a0franchise<\/a> in 2016, Zendaya and Holland, 28, were first romantically linked in July 2021 when they were photographed kissing after months of speculation about the nature of their friendship.<\/p>\n

Since then, they have kept a relatively low profile throughout their relationship<\/a> but have not avoided gushing about each other during interviews.<\/p>\n

When asked by\u00a0Buzzfeed<\/em><\/a> recently if he felt he had any rizz<\/em>, the actor conceded that he\u2019s glad he already has a girlfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m happy and in love, so I\u2019ve got no need for rizz,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cI have no rizz whatsoever\u2026 I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also added that his romantic advice was limited. \u201cProbably making a movie with each other,\u201d he joked, referencing how he eventually won over Zendaya. \u201cIt definitely helps when the characters are falling in love with one another; you can sort of blur the lines a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

As far as wedding details go, a source tells Page Six<\/em> that it’s far too soon to be dreaming up such things and insists that the happy couple are taking their time to enjoy the milestone.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no wedding date or plans set yet,\u201d a source says. “They\u2019re still celebrating the exciting
