Following news of their recent engagement<\/a> breaking at the 2025 Golden Globes<\/a>, Zendaya and Tom Holland appear to be thoughtfully considering their next steps and quietly planning their future together. Though details of wedding plans remain under wraps\u2014in line with their famously private relationship\u2014and reports suggest the proposal<\/a> came as a surprise to the Challengers<\/em><\/a> star, insiders suggest the couple are already aligned on another major milestone: starting a family.<\/p>\n

\u201cTom really wants to have a family, and [he] and Zendaya are on the same page about having kids and wanting to start a family together,\u201d a source told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>, noting Holland, 28, is \u201cvery focused on building a family and his career\u201d at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cTom is [a] very old-school English guy in the way that he wants to have a family and have kids relatively young,\u201d they continued, noting his adoration of his bride-to-be. \u201cHe\u2019s absolutely in love with her.”<\/p>\n

Holland\u2019s musings about fatherhood aren’t news. In a candid interview with Men\u2019s Health<\/em><\/a> in early January 2025, he made no secret of his desire to step away from the limelight when the time eventually comes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he said, laughing about his shift in priorities. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a coworkers-to-friends-to-lovers story, Zendaya, 28, met Holland on the set of the Spider-Man<\/em> franchise in 2016 before they went official with a romance in 2021. At the 2025 Golden Globes, the actress arrived on the red carpet nonchalantly debuting a giant engagement ring before Holland’s father confirmed that the two were indeed engaged.<\/p>\n

While it may be far too soon to mourn the potential loss of Holland\u2019s on-screen presence and to start thinking about baby names, chalk it all up to excitement over the couple’s joyous
