Rachel Boston elaborates on its versatility: \u201cSetting a stone horizontally, rather than vertically as in more traditional engagement rings, is an easy and elegant way to keep the overall feel of your ring classic and minimal while still adding an element of interest. I find that this works as well for a solitaire style like Zendaya\u2019s as it does for more complex, multi-stone pieces. Just switching up the positioning of the central stone opens up a world of endless design possibilities. It feels playful but still very grown-up and timeless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessie Thomas adds, \u201cI\u2019m getting more requests for colored gemstones currently. Sapphires and emeralds are the most popular. The huge variety of colors and the individuality of each stone is ideal for clients looking for a completely bespoke and unique piece.\u201d<\/p>\n

For those still drawn to diamonds, Rachel Boston suggests considering subtle hues: \u201cAs timeless as classic white diamonds are, we are getting more and more clients inquiring about alternative diamonds, and the two most popular are light yellow diamonds and champagne diamonds. These are subtly colored diamonds that range from canary yellow to amber-like brown and peach-colored hues. They\u2019ve got the sparkle of a traditional diamond, with soft, buttery colors to boot. Each diamond will have its own unique color and character, which we love. Champagne diamonds especially are a really nice compromise for people drawn to the classic elegance of diamonds but who still want something a little bit different: they\u2019re subtle but eye-catching.\u201d<\/p>\n

They are super flattering on the finger and bring the same feeling of softness for me as a pear; however, you have to be careful when choosing an oval.
