Supermodel Taylor Hill<\/a> also goes by “Tequila Taylor,” which is apparently not a big surprise if you’re friends with the Victoria’s Secret model. She’s such a big fan of the spirit that she’s quietly becoming a mixologist in her spare time. To prove it, the 24-year-old took to her Instagram feed ahead of the new year<\/a> to share her secret to drinking tequila in the winter. Enter, the Mezcal Hot Toddy, which only requires a few ingredients, and yes, it is<\/em> just as cozy as it sounds.<\/p>\n

Ahead, find all of the ingredients you need to create the Mezcal Hot Toddy at home, as well as the step-by-step instructions. Cheers!<\/p>\n

you will need:<\/span>
\n2 cups of water
\n3 cups of apple cider
\n2 cinnamon sticks
\n1 whole orange, sliced
\n1 whole *red* pear
\nTequila (Hill uses apaluz Mezcal)
\n3 cloves
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

Start by putting all of your ingredients into a pot, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it simmer for 30 minutes, and then ladle approximately one cup of the mixture into a mug. Then, add one ounce of Mezcal tequila (or two, if you’re in the mood for a strong beverage).<\/p>\n
