Under the thinly-veiled guise of the-world-is-falling-apart-but-the-prying-paparazzi-have-meant-we-simply-must-address-our-relationship-status, Brian Austin Green has talked \u2013 at length \u2013 about his breakup with wife of 10 years, Megan Fox.<\/p>\n

In a new episode of his own podcast \u2026 With Brian Austin Green<\/em><\/a>, it featured, well, actor Brian Austin Green, who titled this particular installment \u201cContext.\u201d In it, he confirms he and Fox are \u201ctrying to sort of be apart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted people to hear everything from me and then this is it,\u201d the 46-year-old announces. \u201cI don’t want to have to talk about this anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like Biggie once said, \u201cIt was all a dream\u201d \u2013 and in the case of Green vs Fox, the beginning of the end really did start with a dream. At the end of last year, Megan Fox had left her husband and her children \u2013 Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6 and Journey, 3 \u2013 to shoot a movie for five weeks, the longest time, Green says, that his wife had been away.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbout three weeks into her being gone and shooting, I had a dream, which most people dream, but I don’t ever remember my dreams\u2026 but, I had this dream that she came back from work, and that we were distant, that things were off, that things were weird,\u201d begins Green, saying he texted Megan Fox, 34, who told him everything was \u201cfine.\u201d<\/p>\n

When she came home, Green says his bizarre dream was seemingly spilling over into real life. \u201cBut, I gave her a few weeks, I figured you know, she’s been out of the country, she’s jet-lagged, she’s been shooting nights, I have to give her some time to recoup a little bit and get back into life. And, so, I did.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Can you imagine splitting with someone after 15 years and this is the level of detail he tells the world? A world going through a pandemic. Still, you\u2019re still reading this and I can only nod in agreement that this story is mildly amusing on day 7648 of quarantine.)<\/p>\n

Soon after, Megan Fox told Green that being away shooting had made her realize that she felt she was happier alone. \u201cShe said, ‘You know, I realized while I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself, and I liked myself better during that experience, and I think that may be something worth trying for me,\u2019\u201d says Green. \u201cAnd, I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her, and I wasn’t upset at her because that’s, she didn’t ask to feel that way, it wasn’t a choice she made, that’s the way she honestly felt.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple amicably agreed to some space. This space led to the acceptance that they should end things for good.<\/p>\n

“I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special,” Green says. “So we decided let’s make sure we don’t lose that. That no matter what, we’re always friends with each other and we’re a united front with the kids.”<\/p>\n

The family had spent a day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California,<\/a> in October last year.<\/p>\n
