Benny Blanco has shared a glimpse of the moment he proposed to Selena Gomez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram, he posted a brief clip<\/a> showing the couple clinking champagne glasses, Gomez\u2019s marquise diamond ring glimmering prominently on her hand after she presumably said yes. The acclaimed music producer naturally took advantage of the moment and added a snippet from Gomez’s song ‘Good For You’ where she sings about wearing marquise diamonds.<\/p>\n

With a captionless post, he allowed fans to fill in the gaps, including speculating over where exactly the sweet moment took place.<\/p>\n

As E!<\/em> noted, the clip unveils fresh details about the much-speculated moment the 36-year-old got down on one knee.<\/p>\n

While Gomez\u2019s original engagement<\/a> announcement depicted her perched on a picnic rug in a park, clad in a fluffy coat, jeans, and sneakers, surrounded by Taco Bell, Blanco\u2019s video hints at a different backdrop. As E! notes, studio lights and recording equipment make a cameo behind the smiling couple, suggesting the proposal was a carefully thought-out set-up. Despite these glimpses, the couple has kept the full story of their engagement under wraps.<\/p>\n

When Gomez, 32, first broke the joyous news on social media, photos<\/a> showed the couple celebrating their news, as well as close-ups of the singer’s gorgeous ring.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, wait\u2026 that\u2019s my wife,\u201d Blanco commented.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have been together for over a year and a half, has been open with fans about their playful connection.<\/p>\n

In May, Blanco spoke candidly<\/a> to Howard Stern about Gomez, describing her as his \u201cbest friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe laugh all day,\u201d he gushed. \u201cShe inspires me.\u201d When pressed on whether he planned to propose anytime soon, he agreed it was definitely on the cards but admitted that he wasn’t prepared then.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t have anything. I\u2019ve got no shoes on,” he joked. “I\u2019ve got to get my act together.\u201d<\/p>\n
