December 30, 2020: <\/span><\/strong>It’s official: <\/span>Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> is the winner of the most creative Christmas gift<\/a> of the year. According to recent social posts from her mom, Tina Knowles, and cousin, Angie Beyince, the music icon gave her loved ones custom gold and diamond necklaces that are essentially an optical illusion. Look once, and you’ll see a hand holding up a middle finger. Look twice, and you’ll see the year 2020. <\/span>Mood.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

As epic and relatable as the necklace is, its significance is undeniable. 2020 has been a difficult year, to say the very least, marked by the devastating worldwide coronavirus pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement, and a harrowing presidential election<\/a>. It’s a year that many of us want to forget. Still, it will likely remain deeply rooted in our minds, in memory of all who were lost.<\/p>\n

Beyince posted a photo<\/a> of the 2020 necklace to Instagram, ahead of New Year’s Eve, with a caption explaining its significance. “When I opened it, my eyes teared up because it is both hilarious & deeply sentimental. 2020 has had ups and downs, but overall, it’s been a really weird and tuff year. Hopefully 2021 is good to the world.”<\/p>\n

The Houston native’s mom, Tina Knowles, also shared a selfie on Instagram<\/a> sporting the new accessory. In the accompanying caption, she wrote, “Note my Christmas present (my necklace) from Beyonce f__k 2020 two many losses!!! But it is almost over and we are still here !!! Give God Some\u2764\ufe0f.”<\/p>\n
