As winter descends upon New York City, the red carpet is unfurled once again for the 34th annual Gotham Film Awards. Held at the iconic Cipriani Wall Street, the evening officially initiates the months-long awards season, which sees the year in film and television celebrated. This year\u2019s ceremony recognises a host of fresh talent and cinematic accomplishments across 39 feature films and 25 standout performances.<\/p>\n

Leading the pack with nominations is Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winner Anora<\/em> (which is still in cinemas), alongside celebrated features like Luca Guadagnino<\/a>‘s Challengers<\/em><\/a> and RaMell Ross’ Nickel Boys<\/em><\/a>. Performances by Demi Moore<\/a> (The Substance<\/em><\/a>) and Nicole Kidman<\/a> (Babygirl<\/em><\/a>) are also included in the star-studded lineup. The evening will also pay tribute to industry luminaries such as Zendaya, Angelina Jolie<\/a>, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>, and Dune<\/em><\/a> director Denis Villeneuve, among others, who will receive special honours.<\/p>\n

As the red carpet kicks off, the nominees and presenters, ranging from breakout stars to seasoned icons, have arrived in looks that suggest some aren’t quite ready to let go of the spring\/summer season. From Nicole Kidman<\/a> in bright and floral vintage Dolce & Gabbana<\/a> and Zendaya<\/a> in a crisp white, custom Louis Vuitton<\/a> slip dress to Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/a> in a soft lilac cut-out dress by Saint Laurent<\/a>. Elsewhere, Saoirse Ronan<\/a> and Mikey Madison turn heads in Schiaparelli Haute Couture<\/a>, while Aubrey Plaza<\/a> radiates old Hollywood allure in gold Fendi Haute Couture<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From budding silver screen darlings to Hollywood heavyweights, the 2024 Gotham Awards is a testament to cinematic excellence, and the red carpet style does not take a backseat. Ahead, the most heavenly looks from the evening.<\/p>\n
