Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian has allowed cameras to film the most vulnerable moments of her life on her family\u2019s reality television shows<\/a>. The 40-year-old has opened up about everything from divorce, infidelity and addiction to fertility and parenting. But despite living for public consumption, the 40-year-old has revealed for the first time how a harrowing breach of trust led her to find solace in working out. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy weight loss journey started because I was getting a divorce,\u201d the Good American founder revealed in a new profile<\/a>. \u201cI remember I was going to therapy and the next thing I knew, something private I told my therapist was on a tabloid. And I knew that my therapist disclosed this information to a tabloid because there\u2019s no way this could have gotten out there,\u201d she continued.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo I stopped going to therapy and started going to the gym. I needed a release, but I did not trust anybody else anymore. And the place that I felt the safest was the gym.\u201d Though Kardashian didn\u2019t disclose what the therapist divulged, she did share that the experience was \u201cvery jarring and sort of unbelievable\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s not a chance in the world that it came from anywhere else,\u201d she said of the leaked information.<\/span><\/p>\n

A recent season of <\/span>The Kardashians <\/span><\/i>followed Kim Kardashian and Khlo\u00e9\u2019s best friend, Malika Haqq, trying to coax her out of her reclusive life in Hidden Hills and start seeing a therapist again after the father of her two children, Tristan Thompson<\/a>, betrayed her by cheating multiple times in their relationship. <\/span><\/p>\n

Though we didn\u2019t see it on the show, Kardashian confirmed that she regularly sees Kim\u2019s therapist after initially dragging her feet. \u201cMy therapist was like, \u2018I think you should come three days a week\u2019. [Laughs.] She was like, \u2018You really need to be here\u2019. It all worked out.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The content of those sessions will remain a secret, but she promised that she is in a good place, especially when it comes to her love life<\/a>. \u201cDating has not been a focus for me, and I\u2019ve been single for about three years and love it,\u201d she noted.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not single and dating. I\u2019m just single. I have such power and strength in that. I\u2019m not lonely,\u201d she continued before adding, \u201cI am single and thriving.
