After portraying famed opera singer Maria Callas in Maria<\/em>, Angelina Jolie will return to Paris for another film project. Only, instead of depicting a reclusive music legend, she\u2019ll be enthralled in the cutthroat universe of couture fashion.<\/p>\n

Recently adding \u2018designer\u2019 to her resume with Atelier Jolie<\/a>, the actress is no stranger to this world, but this is the first time she\u2019s taken her connection to fashion to the big screen.<\/p>\n

Set to be directed by Alice Winocour, the film\u2014aptly named Stitches<\/em>\u2014is set in the European fashion capital. It will be shot in both French and English, just like Winocour\u2019s previous film, Proxima,<\/em> which starred Eva Green\u00a0as an astronaut preparing for a year-long stint in space who is coping with the guilt of leaving her child and navigating a male-dominated environment.<\/p>\n

What is Stitches<\/em> about?<\/h2>\n

According to Variety<\/em><\/a>, the film will be \u201cset in the world of high fashion and unfolds in Paris\u201d and will follow \u201cthree women whose lives will collide during Fashion Week.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though not much else is known about Stitches<\/em>, we can personally attest to Paris Fashion Week<\/a> providing the perfect setting for drama and chaos. Just consider everybody\u2019s favourite fashion film, The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Who will star in the film?<\/h2>\n

As far as reports go, Jolie is currently the only name attached to the film.<\/p>\n

The 49-year-old will star as one of the three women whose stories overlap during fashion week, most likely as someone working in the industry. And if you ask us, she would make for a perfect Miranda Priestly-type magazine editor, so here\u2019s hoping we get to see the actress in a similar role.<\/p>\n

When will Stitches<\/em> be released?<\/h2>\n

As it stands, no official release date has been shared.
