(Photo by Gareth Cattermole\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For the first time in nine years, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have gathered together. But standing outside St. Mary\u2019s, a little 12<sup>th<\/sup> century church in Amersham, England, the reunion is sadly to say goodbye to their friend and <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/liam-payne-tributes\/\">One Direction<\/a> band mate, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/liam-payne-dead\/\">Liam Payne<\/a>, 31, who tragically died after falling from a hotel\u2019s third-floor balcony in Argentina on October 16.<\/p>\n<p>The boys\u2014stylishly dressed in black suits and ties and with their weary eyes hidden behind large, rockstar sunglasses\u2014cut sombre figures as Payne\u2019s coffin was brought to the church in a white, horse-drawn carriage. Payne\u2019s devastated parents, Geoff and Karen, arm-in-arm, bravely stood at the church entrance, watching on as their son\u2019s coffin passed by. After news broke of Payne&#8217;s passing, it was <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/liam-payne-father-buenos-aires\/\">Geoff who travelled to South America<\/a> to help authorities bring his son\u2019s body back to the UK, a flight which was tracked online by 11,000 fans worldwide watching Payne land on a tarmac for the last time.<\/p>\n<p>Among the mourners at the funeral was <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/cheryl-cole-addresses-rumours-after-split-from-liam-payne\/\">Cheryl Tweedy<\/a> who dated Payne from 2016 and 2018 and whom shares a <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/liam-payne-cheryl-welcome-baby\/\">seven-year-old son, Bear<\/a>, with the late popstar.
