As she marks a milestone birthday this year, Eva Mendes gets candid about beauty\u2014including the cosmetic treatments she’s dabbled in and regretted.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with The Times UK<\/em><\/a>, the actress recalled turning 50 back in March and divulged whether or not she feels different.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was totally fine. It\u2019s just that number sounds crazy,\u201d she said. \u201cI feel like a girl inside.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, she admitted to feeling a little more spacey as the years go by.<\/p>\n

\u201cI forget everything. I think that\u2019s part of being 50,” she continued. “I think I\u2019m [staring] down the barrel of hormonal changes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though she admits to finding her jaw starting to look \u201cfunky\u201d and ponders getting a laser treatment, getting older hasn’t warped her perspective on beauty.<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s so many things that can make me feel sexy and I\u2019d say that I feel more sexy than not,” she told the outlet. “I guess because I\u2019ve never considered myself beautiful, but I\u2019ve always felt very sexy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opening up about beauty standards, she also admitted to dabbling in various cosmetic procedures.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not afraid to try things that are safe because most of these little treatments, let\u2019s say, are reversible,\u201d she explained. \u201cIf you get Botox, it goes away if you don\u2019t like it. There have been times where I\u2019ve regretted something… and then you just wait it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

But it’s not all about her. Mendes, who has been with Ryan Gosling<\/a> since 2011, offers some credit to her loved-up relationship for still making her feel good after many years and two children<\/a> together.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way my man looks at me is just… at times I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh my god,’\u201d she confessed. \u201cThat might not sit well with people, but so much of how I feel is a reflection of what he\u2019s giving me.\u201d<\/p>\n

And if that’s the secret to looking as good as her, we’re not surprised.<\/p>\n

Having met in 2011 while working on the film, the actors confirmed their real-life romance when they were spotted on a PDA-filled date at Disneyland just a few months later.<\/p>\n

In 2012, they welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda, followed by Amada in 2016.<\/p>\n

In a\u00a02019 interview<\/a>, Mendes revealed she had decided long ago that she didn\u2019t want children, but everything changed when she met the right person.<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan Gosling happened,\u201d Mendes said of her change of mind. \u201cI mean, falling in love with him. Then it made sense for me to have… not kids, but his kids. It was very specific to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though they are notoriously private about their life together, both have given the odd nod to each other in public and have confirmed that they secretly got married<\/a>. In 2015, Gosling, 43, gushed about Mendes, 50, in an interview with Hello! Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When asked what he looks for in his ideal woman, he responded, \u201cEva Mendes. There\u2019s nothing else I\u2019m looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n
