Closing out Shanghai<\/a> Fashion Week, Moncler hosted The City of Genius<\/a>, an immersive spectacle of fashion, culture and art that saw creatives from around the world converge on the Chinese capital.<\/p>\n

This immersive fashion fete, held last night, transformed the historic CSSC Pavilion on the banks of the Huangpu River into a living, breathing metropolis of creativity. Spanning 30,000 square meters, the event drew an audience of 8,000 in person and 57 million viewers online, marking a major feat for the industry.<\/p>\n

Moncler Genius, the Italian luxury brand<\/a>\u2019s innovative platform that brings together cross-disciplinary creators, reached new heights with The City of Genius. This year, ten visionaries\u2014including designers Rick Owens<\/a>, Jil Sander<\/a>, and Donald Glover\u2014crafted their own “neighborhoods,” each reflecting their creative DNA as inspired by Moncler’s enduring legacy and pioneering spirit. The show wasn\u2019t just about showcasing collections but creating a tangible expression of culture, energy, and imagination for fans and friends to experience.<\/p>\n

Remo Ruffini, Moncler\u2019s Chairman and CEO, described the event as a manifestation of how creativity knows no bounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe City of Genius is the ultimate expression that creativity thrives when boundaries dissolve, enabling different worlds and cultural backgrounds to inspire one another in a genuine act of co-creation,” he wrote. “Fueled by Shanghai\u2019s vibrant spirit and magic energy, it is a place where local and international creative talent unite, guided by the childhood genius that lives within all of us.”<\/p>\n

The event symbolized a fusion of local and global talent, embodying Shanghai’s dynamism. Its guest list was a testament to its cultural reach and included British fashion editor Edward Enninful, Naomi Campbell<\/a>, Rihanna<\/a>, A$AP Rocky<\/a>, Anne Hathaway<\/a>, Willow Smith, Xu Bing, Wei Daxun, Henry Lau, and all the designers who\u00a0were a part of this year’s extravaganza. As attendees explored the interconnected designer neighbourhoods, they experienced Moncler\u2019s luxurious vision from multiple artistic perspectives.<\/p>\n

The immersive show not only captivated audiences but also brought new dimensions of innovation to the luxury world, bringing together fashion and utility with art, music, and technology.<\/p>\n
