Leave it to Celine<\/a> to elevate the classic red lipstick. Le Rouge Celine in 01 Rouge Triomphe, the very first makeup product in the Celine Beaut\u00e9 makeup line<\/a>, is finally here and it perfectly reflects the vision of former<\/a> creative, artistic and image director Hedi Slimane<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Created by Slimane before his recent departure, the singular shade of Parisian red comes in a bullet embossed with Celine<\/a>\u2019s logo and housed in a sexy \u201870s-esque faceted gold forever case.<\/p>\n

The sumptuous satin texture is spiked with squalene and sunflower wax to add hydration to the delicate pout and the veil of color it imparts mirrors Slimane\u2019s obsession with fine fabric and effortless draping. And just as the brand\u2019s elongating silhouettes are universally flattering, the true red hue imparts a decided j\u2019nai said quoi on all skin tones.<\/p>\n

But perhaps the most to-die-for aspect of the lipstick is its scent. Subtle notes of rose and rice powder (signature aromas woven throughout the brand\u2019s fragrance collection redolent of the Disco-era) feel at once elegant and the stuff of It girls.<\/p>\n

While the shape of the bullet was designed for a carefree swipe of color straight from the tube, gilded lip brushes are also available for those who desire a more precise placement. There’s a style with a cap to tote in one’s handbag for on-the-go application and a brush meant to be kept at home on a vanity.<\/p>\n

The full line of Le Rouge Celine featuring 15 shades of lipstick in a satin-finish \u2014 including a highly anticipated\u00a0 beige-nude \u2014 will launch in January 2025. More makeup, including eyeliners, mascaras, blush and nail polish should follow. But why wait? Beauty accessories including an ultra-luxe necklace holder for your lipstick, a gua sha tool for sculpting facial and body contours and a purse-friendly mirror will debut later this
