If you’re among the millions who were instantly infatuated by the chemistry between Kristen Bell and Adam Brody<\/a> in Netflix’s new series Nobody Wants This<\/em><\/a>, you’re not alone. In fact, Bell’s husband, Dax Shephard<\/a>, shares your feelings.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with E!<\/a> <\/i>to promote the show, the actress spoke about her husband\u2019s reaction to her and Brody\u2019s on-screen relationship that the Internet has been obsessing over.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven I can acknowledge watching it, like, \u2018Whoa, that\u2019s hot,’\u201d she confessed. \u201cMy husband said the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bell then recalled how Shephard caught himself rooting for Joanne (Bell) and Noah (Brody) almost immediately.<\/p>\n

\u201cWatching the first episode, he was like, \u2018Oh my god, I want you to kiss him so badly.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

As for what goes into establishing that kind of chemistry? The Veronica Mars<\/em> star explained that \u201cthere is a math to\u201d the connection.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have two actors that know how to stare dopily into each other\u2019s eyes,” she said, “and you have to have the confidence to expand that and really sit the anticipatory value before the kiss\u2014which I think is really important.”<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time Bell, 44, has been open about Shepard, 49, championing her during loved-up scenes\u2014it’s all part and parcel with a Hollywood romance, after all.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe likes it when I fall in love onscreen in front of him,” she said during a 2019 appearance on Conan<\/em>. “If he\u2019s watching by himself and I\u2019m in the kitchen, I\u2019ll hear him go, \u2018Honey, get some!\u2019 from the living room,\u201d Bell detailed, calling him a \u201cgreat wingman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having been married since 2013, Bell and the Armchair Expert<\/em><\/a> podcast co-host have been together for over a decade and share two daughters, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Brody began dating Leighton Meester<\/a> in early 2013. The couple also has two children, whose names have not been revealed to the public.<\/p>\n
