There’s one thing we never thought we’d have to question about Dua Lipa: her taste<\/a>. However, as the singer<\/a> recently found out, her drink of choice is somewhat controversial, and the internet naturally responded with its trademark wrath and confusion.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, Lipa was visiting Austin, Texas<\/a>, ahead of a performance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, where she dined on the local cuisine at La Barbecue. It was then that she decided to share her go-to mixed drink recipe with her TikTok<\/a> followers.<\/p>\n

\u201cStep one, Diet Coke,\u201d she begins in the clip, filling her cup with the soda. She then makes her first surprise addition: pickle juice, with both the pickles and brine poured in straight from a container.<\/p>\n

She then adds some more juice from a container of jalape\u00f1os, calling it \u201csauce”. At this point, though, the 29-year-old clocks on to the attention she’s getting from fellow patrons.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone\u2019s staring at me,\u201d she blushes as she mixes the ingredients together. \u201cThe lady in the back is like, \u2018What the hell is she doing?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

As a self-confessed foodie<\/a>, Lipa then takes a swig of the unorthodox drink and smiles before prompting her friends to try it out for themselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat’s randomly not bad,\u201d says one tablemate. \u201cIt’s really pickly,\u201d remarks another. One friend even simply shudders from the tart taste after taking a sip.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is\u2026Mmm,\u201d Lipa says, delighting in her creative concoction.<\/p>\n

Lipa\u2019s video garnered more than 4.8 million views and thousands of comments \u2014 to no one\u2019s surprise.<\/p>\n

The video<\/a> quickly garnered over 4.8 million views, with many fans sharing their revolt at the curious mixture.<\/p>\n

“This is the most evil thing I\u2019ve ever watched,” commented one X user, while others were intrigued to try it out.<\/p>\n
