Just as we’re processing the news of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s split<\/a>, the media is already buzzing about their next moves. While most couldn’t care less about how they’ll handle the financial details of their divorce (oops, they skipped the prenup), everyone\u2019s wondering who they\u2019ll turn to for comfort.<\/p>\n

Too soon, you say? Not for everyone. Rumor has it, Drake has been waiting for weeks<\/a> to try his luck with J.Lo again.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, according to Page Six<\/em> of the New York Post<\/em>, Ben, 52, has already been seen in charming company. No, it’s not his ex, Jennifer Garner (who is happily engaged). Instead, he was spotted with Kick Kennedy.<\/p>\n

Ben Affleck Spotted with a Kick Kennedy<\/h2>\n

Yes, Kennedy\u2014as in the<\/em> Kennedy family. Kick, whose real name is Kathleen Alexandra, is 36 years old and the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who himself is the son of Bobby Kennedy, the senator assassinated in 1968 and younger brother of JFK, the president assassinated in 1962. In short, Kick is JFK’s grandniece.<\/p>\n

Sources say she was seen with Ben at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel and other trendy spots. Despite this, Ben has also been frequently spotted with his ex and their kids…<\/p>\n

As for how Ben and Kick know each other, or if they\u2019re more than friends, it remains unclear. The New York Post<\/em> admits, \u201cthe nature of their relationship is uncertain,\u201d<\/em> and neither has commented. For now, it\u2019s a case of wait and see.<\/p>\n

But who is Kick, exactly? She\u2019s what we often call a socialite, and with her last name, doors open easily for her. She studied history at Stanford University, she\u2019s a thrill-seeker who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with actors Emile Hirsch and Jessica Biel, she\u2019s passionate about environmental causes, and she\u2019s dabbled in acting\u2014appearing in a few series and films, including one directed by her brother Bobby III. However, her most notable claim to fame might be her problematic father.<\/p>\n

A Controversial Father<\/h2>\n

Until recently, RFK Jr. (as he\u2019s known) was running as an independent candidate in the U.S. presidential election. He announced his withdrawal, along with his support for Republican candidate Donald Trump. Although he comes from a staunchly Democratic family (and Ben Affleck is a Democrat too), RFK Jr., an environmental lawyer, is a strong opponent of vaccinations.<\/p>\n

His views took a conspiratorial turn during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading his family to distance themselves from him. It remains unclear where his daughter Kick stands on these issues.<\/p>\n
