anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>Data collected over two weeks from iPhone users in Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z indicated that <strong>WhatsApp is the primary source of stress,<\/strong> being the app that sends the most notifications to half of the participants.<\/p>\n<p>Following closely are <strong>iMessage<\/strong> (the iPhone messaging app), <strong>Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and Gmail<\/strong> in fifth place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outlook, Vinted, Pinterest,<\/strong> and <strong>YouTube<\/strong> were also cited as significant sources of notifications.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to Handle Notification Stress<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If the number of notifications on your phone is causing you stress, <strong>there are several methods to manage it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Liam Howley, Chief Marketing Officer at music Magpie, advises turning off notifications for the most intrusive apps, like <strong>WhatsApp,<\/strong> even if it&#8217;s just for one day a week of your choice.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, <strong>using phone settings that allow you to select time intervals during which you do not wish to receive notifications,<\/strong> such as during work hours or at night, can help maintain a more positive balance.<\/p>\n<p>For those struggling with email management, it&#8217;s beneficial to <strong>declutter your inbox;<\/strong> although this may seem like an almost impossible task.
