Taylor Swift\u2019s last night in London\u2019s Wembley Stadium<\/a> brought the European Leg of her worldwide Eras Tour to a close after performing more than 50 shows across the continent. Though fans had expected the eighth and final night of her stint across the pond would conclude with the announcement of the re-recording of Reputation<\/i>, Swift offered her own \u2018Taylor\u2019s Version\u2019 and brought out Florence and the Machine songstress Florence Welch instead.<\/p>\n

During the set<\/a> for her eleventh studio album The Tortured Poets Department<\/i>, Swift and Welch teamed up to debut the first-ever live performance of their duet \u201cFlorida!!!\u201d. Though surprise appearances, something she introduced in her 1989 <\/i>tour in 2014, have been typically reserved to the secret song<\/a> component of the concert, Welch\u2019s arrival wasn\u2019t the only secret Swift had up her bejewelled sleeve.<\/p>\n

Later in the show, her long-term producer and collaborator Jack Antonoff, joined Swift on stage to perform \u201cGetaway Car\u201d. The single from the 2017 album could be viewed as an Easter Egg<\/a> hinting that Reputation (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em> will be landing sooner than expected, but it also served as a sweet moment for Swift to thank her fans for their enduring support.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think a lot about why I’m lucky enough to get to do a show like the Eras Tour, and it’s because I’ve been fortunate enough to find friendships over the years that have been incredible collaborative and creative [forces],” she told the crowd. “I get to make music with one of my best friends in the world, and he’s here tonight,\u201d she added to introduce the newlywed.<\/p>\n

She later bid farewell to the city<\/a> with an acoustic piano performance of one of The Tortured Poets Department<\/i>\u2019s most tender songs, \u201cSo Long, London\u201d. Swift celebrated the end of the tour with a wrap party at Mayfair\u2019s ritzy members-only club Annabel\u2019s.<\/a><\/p>\n

She will soon pick up the performance during the final North American instalment. Swift will bring the tour to Canada for the first time, inviting Gracie Abrams<\/a> to once again open for her during her residencies in Toronto and Vancouver.
