For 16 years, we\u2019ve bared witness to Adele\u2019s heartbreaking love ballads\u2014her 2021 album, 30<\/em><\/a>, which chronicled the emotions surrounding her divorce<\/a> nearly broke us. But on August 8 2024, the 16-time Grammy winner gave audiences at her Munich concert a love life update: she\u2019s getting married, again!<\/p>\n

After three years together and swirling rumours<\/a>, Adele, 36, confirmed her engagement<\/a> to sports agent Rich Paul<\/a>, 42, to the largely-German crowd on Thursday. A fan jokingly asked if the singer could marry them, reports the New York Post<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t marry you because I\u2019m already getting married so, I can\u2019t,\u201d Adele responded before revealing her engagement ring<\/a>. Cue: an uproar from the crowd. Meeting on a dance floor in 2019, it would take Adele and Paul\u2014who reps NBA greats like LeBron James\u2014a couple of years before meeting again.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe went out for dinner, which he says was a business meeting and I\u2019m like \u2018A business meeting about what?\u2019 And then it was the first time we hung out on our own,\u201d Adele told Oprah in an interview<\/a> in November 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s just hilarious,\u201d she continued. \u201cHe\u2019s so funny. And very smart. Very, very smart. It\u2019s quite incredible watching him do what he does and just the easiness of it and very smooth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The powerhouse singer was\u00a0previously married to British charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki, 50. They share one son<\/a>, Angelo, who was born in 2012. Paul has three children from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n
