Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi married on July 17, 2020 in an intimate ceremony and are celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi hit a milestone this July. They celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, often called the “wax” anniversary. These two tied the knot on July 17, 2020, in an ultra-private ceremony. Initially, their wedding was set for May but got postponed thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Unlike most royal weddings<\/a>, this one stayed under wraps. Princess Beatrice married in secrecy<\/a> at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. Only about 20 close family members attended, including Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.<\/p>\n

Since their quiet wedding, the couple has embraced parenthood with their daughter, Sienna. To mark their anniversary on July 17, Edoardo put his wife in the limelight by posting rare wedding photos on Instagram<\/a>. One photo shows the newlyweds sharing a tender kiss in a garden\u2014a moment previously kept private.<\/p>\n

Another photo captures the wedding\u2019s setup inside the Royal Chapel, adorned beautifully for the ceremony. Edoardo captioned the post with a heartfelt message: “Happy 4th wedding anniversary my love. Every day is so special with you. I love you so much.”<\/em> Talk about dreamy!<\/p>\n

Princess Beatrice\u2019s Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II<\/h2>\n

Princess Beatrice graced her wedding with meaningful symbols, including the Kokoshnik tiara. This diamond fringe tiara originally belonged to Queen Mary and was worn by Queen Elizabeth II<\/a> on her wedding day in 1947. Reports later revealed, \u201cThe Queen kept this grand tiara especially for Beatrice. It has always been reserved for her, as they are exceptionally close.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Further honoring her grandmother, Beatrice chose a vintage ivory peau de soir taffeta dress by Norman Hartnell, also a nod to Queen Elizabeth II. She transformed this old garment into a stunning wedding dress with a few alterations and additions. What a heartfelt tribute to her cherished grandmother!<\/p>\n
