Congratulations are due for Emma Roberts and her fianc\u00e9 Cody John after the actor proposed to his long-term girlfriend in a bucolic field worthy of a Nicholas Sparks-penned love story. John popped the question with a tasteful and timeless engagement ring. The solitaire diamond appears to be a brilliant round cut placed on a thick gold band and finished in a prong setting.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Roberts took to social media to share the joyous news with her 20 million Instagram followers, posting a sweet photo of the engaged couple hugging in a lake-side picturesque setting. The actress and book club founder<\/a> accompanied the picture with a tongue-in-cheek caption, writing: \u201cPutting this here before my mom<\/a> tells everyone \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The style in question is the ethereal Californian-based label\u2019s beloved Henri top in blush. The rosy piece is inspired by Edwardian dress and features gentle pintucks, softly billowing puffed shoulders, a dramatic V-neck and a cascading ruffle lace collar that lines the entire front of the shirt. (Taylor Swift<\/a>, Whitney Port<\/a> and Lily Aldridge<\/a> also own the white variant of the style!)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
