George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin met in 2013 and have been inseparable and deeply in love ever since<\/a>. Following a whirlwind romance, the philanthropist actor and the British human rights lawyer married. In 2017, Amal gave birth to twins, Ella and Alexander. In 2021, the couple decided to buy a house in the Var, in Brignoles. Their immense property<\/a>, Le Canadel, spans 172 hectares. George fell in love with the Provencal hinterland. Although they are not often in the region, Paris Match revealed they recently visited the area and made a sensation as usual. Amal was seen with an adorable little dog, a gift from George. “It’s Amal’s birthday. I gave her this dog this morning,”<\/em> George said.<\/p>\n

The actor has also heavily invested in the region<\/a>. He helped create a municipal farm, largely funded by him, to provide local fruits and vegetables to schoolchildren. “During a dinner, he told me he supported and wanted to help with this operation for the children,”<\/em> explained Didier Br\u00e9mond, the mayor. He continued, “The ambition was to offer all the inhabitants of the territory the choice of healthy, local, and sustainable food through our territorial food plan.”<\/em><\/p>\n

In the streets of Brignoles, merchants are satisfied with this initiative. “I remember he had already helped the victims after the floods two years ago by donating a check for 20,000 euros to the city council. This time, he is committed to the city’s kids. I think it’s great,”<\/em> concluded Michel, a merchant in the French town.<\/p>\n
