Just a month ago, many fans were buzzing that there weren\u2019t any new photos to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle<\/a>‘s eldest son Archie’s 5th birthday. Now, the buzz is back, but this time it’s for their daughter, Lilibet Diana, who turns 3 on June 4. If Archie is rare to see, Lilibet practically holds the crown for privacy. But what\u2014and who\u2014does Lilibet look like?<\/p>\n

The Mystery of Her Appearance<\/h2>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen to protect their children from the relentless glare of the media and online trolls, and who can blame them? After all, their kids didn\u2019t sign up for this royal rollercoaster. However, couldn’t they make a small exception for memorable milestones<\/a>? A little bit like William and Kate<\/a>, maybe? Apparently, that\u2019s a stretch.<\/p>\n

Lilibet has managed to stay an almost invisible child. No photos from her birth, no pictures from her baptism either. The world had to wait until December 2021 to catch a glimpse of her. During the summer, Harry, Meghan, and their two kids posed for photographer Alexi Lubomirski, with one of the family photos becoming a greeting card for a charity they support via their Archewell foundation. A tease, but hey, better than nothing.<\/p>\n

The Elusive Images of Lilibet<\/h2>\n

Finally, in June 2022, on Lilibet\u2019s first birthday, we got her first\u2014and so far, only\u2014official portrait. Taken by photographer Misan Harriman, this photo was later shared on social media. It was a big moment for fans.<\/p>\n

And then? Radio silence. Well, almost. We saw brief glimpses of Lilibet in the ‘Harry & Meghan’ Netflix documentary at the end of 2022. Episode six treated us to a video clip from the day she was born and a baby photo of her in pajamas that read \u201clittle Lili\u201d<\/em> in French. Even the paparazzi seem to respect the Sussexes’ desire for privacy, at least relatively speaking.<\/p>\n

Birthday Celebration for the Discreet Daughter<\/h2>\n

So, how did Lilibet celebrate her 3rd birthday? According to People, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle invited close family members\u2014likely Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, and the children’s nanny\u2014along with a few friends and some of Lilibet’s own little pals. Details are scarce, but that’s all part of the mystique surrounding the young royal.<\/p>\n

It’s clear that Harry and Meghan are committed to keeping their children’s lives as private as possible. While it drives fans a bit crazy, it\u2019s probably a relief for the Sussex family. As for Lilibet, she remains a blend of curiosity and wonder for the public, much like her famous namesake, Queen Elizabeth II.<\/p>\n
