it, or it might take up much more space than you think.<\/p>\n<h2>Talk to Someone<\/h2>\n<p>Other people might help you feel better; you might find the comfort you need, but it&#8217;s not just that.<\/p>\n<p>Engaging with others, especially those who can be objective and introspective, can help you ask yourself the right questions.<\/p>\n<p>You may not always find the answers you&#8217;re looking for or that you like, but this process will help you become more aware of the situation and give meaning to what still seems impossible to believe.<\/p>\n<p>When we&#8217;re in a lot of pain, we lose clarity, and <strong>others can become those eyes that help us see things as they are.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>To Overcome Disappointment, Focus on Yourselves<\/h2>\n<p>It might sound like a clich\u00e9, but it&#8217;s rare to understand the value of <strong>focusing entirely on oneself.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>People who are disappointed tend to keep thinking about the other person and leave little space for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>In the period immediately after disappointment, it&#8217;s easier for the mind paradoxically to focus on the one who caused it, and thus we end up forgetting about ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ve been let down, perhaps betrayed or deceived, but remember that you&#8217;re still here.<\/p>\n<p>Focus on yourselves, turn your attention to those who love you,
