(Photo by Lester Cohen\/Getty Images for The Recording Academy)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the moment Miley Cyrus stepped out on the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/search\/?search=grammys%202024&amp;tags=grammys%202024\">2024 Grammys red carpet <\/a>in a split tabi heel and covered in gilded Maison Margiela safety pins\u2014to resemble the \u201cSusy Sphinx\u201d collection designer by the luxuriate\u2019s creative director, John Galliano, for his eponymous Fall\/Winter 1997 line, naturally\u2014we knew this <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/miley-cyrus-versace\/\">showgirl<\/a> had stolen the show. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like her bouffant hairdo, the occasion moment marked new heights in Cyrus\u2019 career as she <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/grammys-2024-miley-cyrus\/\">took home her first (and second!) Grammy Award<\/a> later that evening. As she sang in her vintage Bob Mackie while performing the newly minted Record of the Year, \u201cFlowers\u201d: \u201cStarted to cry, but remembered I just won my first Grammy!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch the sweet moment, below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Miley Cyrus - Flowers (LIVE at the 66th Grammys)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PSC4TcLJfAg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, two months later, Cyrus has reflected on what she describes as a two-decades-too-late Grammy sweep.&#8221;No shade, but I&#8217;ve been doing this for 20 years, and this is my first time actually being taken seriously at the Grammys?\u201d the former Disney star revealed in a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmagazine.com\/culture\/miley-cyrus-cover-interview-2024\" target=\"_blank\">profile<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I&#8217;ve had a hard time figuring out what the measurement is there,\u201d Cyrus questioned in relation to the slight. \u201cIf we want to talk stats and numbers, then where the f*** was I? And if you want to talk, like, impact on culture, then where the f*** was I?&#8221; Cyrus clarified: &#8220;This is not about arrogance. When Cyrus swung into the Grammys as powerful as a wrecking ball, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/miley-cyrus-releases-album-endless-summer-vacation\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Endless Summer Vacations <\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">songstress shared that she channelled a \u201cchildlike confidence\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI wrote on this dream board that I wanted to show up to the Grammys with a childlike confidence, like when a kid isn\u2019t scared to just dive into the deep end or do a backflip because they don\u2019t know what\u2019s on the other side,\u201d she offered on the performance that\u2019s now been viewed over 33 million times on YouTube. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My 12-year-old self got to come out and play, while my 31-year-old self was in Bob Mackie with big hair.\u201d As she told us time and time again, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/miley-cyrus-liam-hemsworth-divorce\/\">Cyrus can buy her own flowers<\/a>. Now, she\u2019s finally receiving the flowers she
