It feels like just yesterday we were fawning over Sofia Richie Grainge’s wedding<\/a> and subsequent honeymoon outfits<\/a>, but congrats are in order once again for the newlyweds, who just announced the birth of their first child.<\/p>\n

In a way befitting the woman who introduced ‘quiet luxury’ to the masses, the 25-year-old revealed the joyous news that she was expecting via a Vogue<\/em><\/a> magazine shoot. In black-and-white photos shot by Yulia Gorbachenko, Richie Grainge can be seen showing off her burgeoning baby bump with her husband, Elliot Grainge<\/a>, 30.<\/p>\n

Talking about her experience of finding out about the news and hitting milestones, the model and designer<\/a> revealed she’s having a baby girl who will likely be a Gemini\u2014and she was, in fact, correct.<\/p>\n

On May 24, the Grainges officially became parents to a beautiful baby girl named Eloise Samantha Grainge.<\/p>\n

The middle name is a nod to Grainge’s late mother, Samantha Berg, who, after complications during childbirth, remained in a coma until passing away in 2007.<\/p>\n

“best day of my life\ud83e\udd0d,” she captioned the black-and-white phot of Eloise’s feet.<\/p>\n

If you’re wondering about how the couple managed to keep the pregnancy news under wraps for so long, Richie Grainge explained that she was adamant about taking her time.<\/p>\n

“Pregnancy is really scary, and you want to protect that space,\u201d she explained to the outlet. \u201cI didn\u2019t realise there are so many milestones you have to hit and so many tests you have to take. For me, it was really important to protect our mental health and our space as a couple.”<\/p>\n

She also shared how it’s changed her perspective on her body.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve learned more in the past six months than I have in my entire life, and also just like what the female body is capable of,” she said. “Every week brings new things, whether it\u2019s hormonal shifts or expansion\u2014there\u2019s just so much our bodies go through.<\/p>\n

Having started off as friends<\/a>, the couple tied the knot in April 2023 during a lavish ceremony<\/a> in the South of France that was quickly followed by a Maldives honeymoon.<\/p>\n

As she revealed in the interview, the newlyweds had been “casually” trying since their wedding.<\/p>\n

Richie-Grainge wrote about their excitement in a photo when sharing the news on Instagram.<\/p>\n

“Our hearts are filled with so much love!
