The Boulevard de la Croisette is arguably the place to be in Europe come May. The C\u00f4te d’Azur has always drawn an exclusive crowd, from the jet set frequenting the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc to the Slim Aarons-beaches of Saint Tropez. But with the Cannes Film Festival<\/a> a meeting place for luminaries in the film industry, the fashion set has swiftly followed to ensure Hollywood heavyweights are the only ones enjoying the spotlight. <\/span><\/p>\n

Over the weekend, supermodel-turned-beauty mogul<\/a> Bella Hadid descended on the French Riviera, seemingly teasing her much-awaited return to the red carpet. Hadid\u2019s recent Lyme disease<\/a> flare caused her to quietly step back from modelling<\/a> to convalesce in private. Now, after recuperating at her new home in Texas<\/a>, Hadid is back delivering headline-earning sartorial moments. <\/span><\/p>\n

Crescendoing from her slew of vintage John Galliano for Dior ensembles while promoting her fragrance brand, ‘\u00d4r\u0259bella<\/a>, while in New York, the 27-year-old has arrived in the South of France looking like Euro Summer personified<\/a>. Arriving at <\/span>H\u00f4tel Martinez, Hadid took cues from her balmy surroundings by dressing in an espresso-toned mini dress for her latest street style<\/a> offering.<\/span><\/p>\n

The body-sculpting piece consisted of a lightweight netted material and featured a built-in bralette layer and plunging skirt to give the bodice a corseted feel. <\/span><\/p>\n

For accessories, Hadid remained true to her stature as the reigning queen of late 90s and early 00s vintage with a pair of pink suede Prada pointed-toe kitten heels. (Yes, the eyelet and bow detailed variations on everyone\u2019s Vestiaire Collective wishlist.) <\/span><\/p>\n

Her bag was also courtesy of Mrs. Prada, albeit a bit more modern. She toted the champagne-coloured Prada raso rose mini tote, with intentionally crinkled satin and a trio of bubblegum-coloured 3D rosettes embroidered onto the side. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sadly, these pieces are a collector’s item on resale sites. However, as one recently sold on The Real Real, consider this your invitation to enable notifications and add this to your \u2018One To Watch\u2019 cart. <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no telling which film Hadid will be flocking to the red carpet for, but given her oeuvre of anatomical Schiaparelli<\/a> and vintage Tom Ford for Gucci, her next look will be one worthy of a standing ovation.<\/span><\/p>\n
