Harry Styles and Taylor Russell,<\/a> Hollywood’s most adored ‘new’ couple, have reportedly split just shy of a year together.<\/p>\n

As reported by The Sun<\/em><\/a>, the couple broke up in April following a trip to Japan. A source revealed to the British tabloid that their issues did not get any better before they decided to part ways.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry and Taylor have ended their relationship,” they said. “They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart.”<\/p>\n

The insider added that Styles and Russell have been keeping some distance at this time.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s been in America, and she\u2019s been in London. They made a lovely couple, and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy,” they continued. “Things have become strained recently, though, and they\u2019ve taken some time out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news comes as a shock, as only a few weeks ago, People<\/em><\/a> reported that Russell and Styles\u2019 relationship was going from strength to strength.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are fairly serious and have travelled together,\u201d said a source, adding that while Styles is a relatively private person, he and Russell enjoyed the same interests.<\/p>\n

Russell and Styles first sparked dating rumours<\/a> after being spotted spending time together in London last June. By September, they confirmed they were a thing with some hand-holding<\/a> in the streets.<\/p>\n

Styles has been keeping a relatively low profile, while Russell was most recently photographed solo at the 2024 Met Gala<\/a> in New York City. While it wasn’t obvious at the time, her custom Loewe look<\/a> might just be the ultimate revenge
