Though the world has only been privy to Hailey Bieber\u2019s pregnancy for over a week, it\u2019s apparent the countdown to the skincare mogul\u2019s impending arrival is undoubtedly piquing interest, but not for the reason you think. Yes, social media might be rampant with baby name predictions for her and Justin Bieber\u2019s first child,<\/a> however rather than getting bunked down with nursery planning and newborn shopping, the couple have instead decided to utilise their last few months as a family of two to see the world\u2014and the jet set scattered over the internet have taken notice. <\/span><\/p>\n

After announcing the news with a series of images from their intimate vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii, an occasion that saw the model don a custom Saint Laurent white lace wedding dress<\/a>, the Biebers have already set off on their babymoon. For the pre-bub holiday, the pair ventured to Kyoto<\/a>, the spiritual oasis of Japan. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Biebers were spotted exiting sushi restaurants<\/a>, visiting Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakam\u2019s new exhibition and roaming the leafy streets hand-in-hand, making the most of their luxurious stay at the luxury Ryokan-inspired spa resort, Aman Kyoto. The vacation also marked the first real instance the Rhode Beauty founder gave us a glimpse into her maternity wardrobe<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

As we now know, Bieber concealed her bump with oversized sportswear while out and about in Los Angeles. Now free to showcase her prenatal sartorial sense, the soon-to-be mother leant into tried and tested wardrobe fundamentals, rather than experiment with shape and silhouette. Interestingly, her ensembles felt ripped from the closet of her 2020 street style<\/a> with vintage Levi jeans, sculpted outerwear and eccentric footwear a mainstay in her sojourn wardrobe. <\/span><\/p>\n

Her bump may be proudly on display, but these looks offer something all women can take notes from. Chiefly, a black blazer is an essential piece to own and can see you through every season. Of course, this is definitive proof style savants were correct in electing a black blazer and blue jeans to be their uniform of choice. But rotating between a boxier cut Balenciaga jacket, a nipped-at-the-waist Jacquemus coat and a leather bomber, Bieber is cementing timeless classics as must-haves\u2014expecting or not. <\/span><\/p>\n
