Riverdale <\/em>actors Lili Reinhart<\/a> and Cole Sprouse<\/a> have ended their three-year on-again-off-again relationship, sources have told People<\/a> <\/em>and Page Six<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The (former) pair\u2019s Riverdale <\/em>co-star Skeet Ulrich, 50, went live on Instagram with his Australian model girlfriend Megan Blake Irwin<\/a>, 25, where she let slip Reinhart and Sprouse are no longer together. When a user asked Ulrich if he thought his co-stars made a cute couple, he responded, \u201cI think they were a very cute couple.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then Irwin added, \u201cThey were a very cute couple,\u201d emphasising the word \u201cwere.\u201d \u201cThey\u2019re both beautiful people,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

(An interesting aside: Irwin used to date Scott Disick<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cCole and Lili split before the pandemic hit, and have been quarantining separately,\u201d a separate source reportedly confirmed to Page Six<\/em>. \u201cThey remain good friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reinhart and Sprouse made their first public appearance at the 2018 Met Gala in New York City.<\/p>\n

Interviewing 23-year-old Reinhart as part of her Hustlers<\/em> promotion in September last year<\/a>, we were advised to refrain from asking questions surrounding the status of her relationship with Sprouse. At the time, the duo were rumored to have split but soon after, Reinhart told her fans via W magazine<\/a><\/em> not to believe everything they read on the internet.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt first, I didn’t want things private,\u201d she told\u00a0W<\/em>. \u201cNow that I’m X amount of years in, I do appreciate the privacy we have, that he’s encouraged me to take. No one knows how long we’ve been together, and no one will until we’re ready to say it. No one knows how we fell in love, except for our close friends and us. It’s really special.\u201d<\/p>\n

In April, 27-year-old Sprouse was forced to defend his relationship with Reinhart amid rumors he had cheated on his girlfriend with model Kaia Gerber<\/a>, calling the headlines \u201cbaseless accusations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first stepped into a public relationship this was one of the foreseeable consequences,\u201d Sprouse captioned his Instagram post. \u201cAnd while I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it’s clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle. So in conclusion \u2014 please eat my delectable plump a\u2014.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, a source told E! News<\/a><\/em> the pair were in an on-again-off-again relationship. \u201cTheir relationship is always up and down,\u201d the insider said at the time, \u201cbut they do talk every day and care very much about one another.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both actors currently play love interests Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper on CW\u2019s Riverdale<\/em>. Reps for both have not confirmed the break-up news.<\/p>\n
