Was Sophie Turner the OG Instagram comedian? Long before the likes of Jordan Firstman and Ziwe, whose hilarious skits completely blew up on social media during the pandemic, the British actress was using the platform for a recurring skit of her own. For the past two years, wherever she happened to be in the world (even including on her tropical honeymoon), Turner would pop onto Instagram stories to give her 15 million followers \u2018the tea.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the impromptu series, Turner always has a cup of tea in her hand – recently, since becoming a mom, she\u2019s swapped it once or twice for a glass of red wine – while telling her fans something hilarious or important. <\/span><\/p>\n

Though she\u2019s dropped off recently, and been usurped by Firstman in the process, the<\/span> Game of Thrones<\/span><\/i> actress popped back online briefly to share an important message to those who think they\u2019re above wearing a mask during a global pandemic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“If I can wear a mask while I give birth, you can wear a mask at Walmart,” Turner said on her Instagram Stories while lying on the couch. “And that’s the tea.”<\/span><\/p>\n
