The tortured poet<\/a> formally known as Taylor Swift has put down her quill to make an appearance at a charity gala in Las Vegas with her athlete boyfriend<\/a>, Travis Kelce.\u00a0 (Thankfully, no footage of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end singing \u201cViva Las Vegas\u201d was captured during this trip.) <\/span><\/p>\n

It’s been a whirlwind few months since Swift and Kelce last graced Sin City with their presence for the 58th Super Bowl<\/a>. Over three months, the couple have utilised every second of their free schedule, visiting Sydney<\/a> (where the Grammy Winner<\/a> gave this Italian trattoria in Surry Hills<\/a> her stamp of approval), the balmy beaches of The Bahamas<\/a> and even Coachella<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Swift also released the surprise double album, <\/span>The Tortured Poets Department<\/a>,<\/span><\/i> during the hiatus between legs of her Eras Tour. But in Vegas, Swift and Kelce appeared to make the most of their time in America\u2019s adult playground. The couple frequented a local speakeasy bar with fellow midwest power couple Patrick and Brittany Mahomes between their attendance at the couple\u2019s \u201815 And The Mahomies\u2019 foundation gala. Mahomes, who is the latest freshly minted member of Swift\u2019s girl squad, runs the charity with her Chiefs quarterback husband.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, Kelce had his very own mic grab moment (though nothing like Kanye West\u2019s at the 2009 MTV VMAs). \u201cI was just talking to my significant other, and we might have one other alternate item that wasn\u2019t on the docket,\u201d he said to the crowd before adding, \u201cHas anybody heard of the Eras Tour?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Traylor partaking in the Eras Tour ticket resale market wasn\u2019t on our 2024 bingo cards, but given it\u2019s for a good cause we\u2019re sure her fans won’t mind her scalping her own shows. Swift generously donated four tickets to either the New Orleans, Miami or Indianapolis shows slated for October later this year. The highly sought-after tickets<\/a> sold for over USD$80,000 (AUD$122.363). <\/span><\/p>\n
