Just when you think Zendaya sporting a custom 1950s-inspired bubblegum pink dress for her Challengers<\/em> press tour<\/a> would be the biggest highlight of Simon Porte Jacquemus\u2019 week, the French designer has shared the joyous news that he and his husband Marco Maestri have welcomed twins into the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

Jacquemus doesn\u2019t often deal with traditions. (His grandiose yet bucolic settings for his vibrant runway shows are apparent.) Yet, with the release of his first dedicated bridal collection preceding the birth of his two newborns, it\u2019s clear he\u2019s following the time-old love-themed nursery rhyme as closely as possible. First comes the lust-worthy nuptials suite of the century, then comes babies in a raffia<\/a> carriage. <\/span><\/p>\n

Jacquemus announced the arrival of his bundle of joys with an Instagram post three days after their birth. Though the creative director didn\u2019t reveal the gender of his babies, he shared their super sweet names: Mia and Sun. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to earth, our love. We love you so much. Our dream has come true with you,\u201d the LVMH Prize finalist captioned the picture of their tiny hands and hospital bracelets. We didn\u2019t need any more reasons to be more besotted with this dreamy family, the 34-year-old gave us an extra helping of <\/span>the feels <\/span><\/i><\/a>by signing his post \u201cPapa Simon and Papa Marco\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

If Jacquemus\u2019 runway shows or dreamy Provincial wedding<\/a> is anything to go by, it\u2019s already worth counting down the days until their first birthday. (You can mark your calendar for April 20, 2025, if you\u2019re organised.) The couple\u2019s blue-eyed, speckled brown hair dachshund, TouTou,<\/a> wasn\u2019t mentioned in the post, but it\u2019s safe to assume he\u2019s adjusting well to big brother life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Naturally, this announcement drew well wishes from all corners of fashion\u2019s globe. Victoria Beckham<\/a>, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday, wrote<\/a>, \u201cCongratulations \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f I\u2019m so happy for you both!!!! So many kisses xxxx\u201d. Supermodel and Jacquemus muse, Vittoria Ceretti<\/a>, also shared her excitement for the couple, writing, \u201cCongrats!! \ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd7a\ud83e\udd7a so happy for you\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

Given the calibre of celebrity friends, one could conclude that the twins\u2019 godparents might be pulled from this roster. But more importantly, it officially makes Jacquemus\u2019 grandmother Liline the chicest great-grandmother in the world! Now that\u2019s worth celebrating.
