When you think about Margot Robbie, her long, blonde ‘Beach Babe’ hair<\/a> immediately springs to mind. But as they say, the best way to stay on top in Hollywood is to constantly be reinventing yourself, and at the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony<\/a> in Los Angeles yesterday, the actress did just that.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, which invites celebrity presenters and performers to celebrate leading figures from the worlds of technology, business, and entertainment, Robbie traded in her Barbiecore wardrobe<\/a> for a sleek black gown by Rick Owens<\/a>. Featuring a strapless silhouette and ruched draped design in soft cotton jersey, the dress was a refreshing choice for the starlet\u2014and is actually available for purchase here<\/a>!<\/p>\n

As styled by her longtime collaborator Andrew Mukamal<\/a>, she kept accessories to a minimum with chunky gold bangles and coordinating rings.\u00a0But despite the statement jewels, all eyes were on the Babylon<\/em><\/a> star’s hair, as Robbie decided to debut a new crop look.<\/p>\n

Grazing her collarbones, the blunt long bob<\/a> (or ‘lob’) cut was styled straight down with a slight tussle and curved inwards at the ends. Though she’s maintaining a lowkey golden hue, effortlessly blended with her natural roots, the cut comes as a major change since she hasn’t been photographed with hair this short since 2019.<\/p>\n
