It’s no coincidence that two sequels followed.<\/p>\n The TV series “Sex and the City” is a panacea for all existential and especially sentimental woes. If you know all the lines by heart, watch the first movie (dated 2008) directed by Michael Patrick King. Starring the legendary Sarah Jessica Parker, Jason Lewis, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.<\/p>\n If you cheer yourself up by shopping when you’re feeling down, this funny movie is for you “I Love Shopping” by P.J. Hogan (2009). Inspired by Sophie Kinsella’s best-selling novel, it features Isla Fisher as Rebecca Bloomwood, a journalist with an easy credit card and a constantly overdrawn bank account.<\/p>\n It’s always beautiful and relaxing to immerse yourself in “The Fabulous Destiny of Am\u00e9lie Poulain”. The film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (2001), starring Audrey Tautou and Matthieu Kassovitz, is an invitation to start seeing life with different eyes and to never stop dreaming.<\/p>\n If you want to spend a couple of hours of pure fun, rewatch “There’s Something About Mary” by Peter and Bobby Farrelly (1998). It’s about Ted’s (Ben Stiller) desire for redemption, who, after thirteen years, finds Mary (Cameron Diaz), a girl he was madly in love with in high school, and absolutely wants to win her over by trying to erase an embarrassing incident that marked him at the time.<\/p>\n A real stress-reliever is definitely “Zoolander,” directed and starring Ben Stiller. Derek Zoolander, a model without the physique but with all the quirks of his colleagues, is an irresistible character to say the least. In this case, we recommend watching both the first film from 2001 and the second.<\/p>\n The original Willy Wonka (from 1971) is a cult classic: thanks to a golden ticket, Charlie and his grandfather win the chance to visit Willy Wonka’s wonderful chocolate factory. Where truly anything can happen. Might not be the first funny movie you think about but it will make you giggle for sure!<\/p>\n Jack Sparrow is daring, crazy, and irresistible, so watching him again in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” saga could be a nice way to set aside (at least for a moment) the worries of the real world. Here you have the beauty of four movies to watch, starting with “The Curse of the Black Pearl” by Gore Verbinski (2003).<\/p>\n A masterpiece in the history of cinema that tells the extraordinary adventure of Bastian. This shy and bullied boy finds himself inside a book, “The NeverEnding Story,” in which the kingdom of Fantasia is threatened by the Nothing while the Childlike Empress, ruler of the kingdom, is terribly ill and only a hero can save her from certain death. Stepping forward is the young Atreyu.<\/p>\n Henry is a veterinarian in Hawaii, and he falls in love at first sight with Lucy, a young teacher. The next day, he meets her again, but she doesn’t remember him because her short-term memory is damaged, and she forgets everything that happened during the day while sleeping.
