Margot Robbie drew her magnum opus Barbie<\/em> press tour<\/a> to a close with one final sartorial frenzy: the 2024 Oscars and Vanity Fair<\/em> After Party.<\/a><\/p>\n

Though many had anticipated Robbie to use the red carpet<\/a> as a sartorial swan song to bid the plastic protagonist farewell\u2014or more importantly, the pink shade the silicon icon is associated with\u2014the Australian actress and producer instead opted for a slinky black \u201crevenge dress\u201d<\/a> from Versace Fall\/Winter 2024<\/a> and a vintage Theirry Mugler bodysuit<\/a> from Spring\/Summer 1996<\/a> for Vanity Fair\u2019s<\/em> annual after party<\/a>.\u00a0 (Some theorised that Robbie\u2019s choice to eschew Barbie\u2019s trademark colour was a slight back at the Academy after they snubbed Barbie<\/em> and Greta Gerwig<\/a> from two of the most prominent categories.)<\/p>\n

Yet, after the fanfare has quelled and the step-and-repeat well and truly packed away until next awards season, there\u2019s still one element of Robbie\u2019s look that we can\u2019t get out of our heads: her manicure.<\/p>\n

Unlike many A-listers, Robbie selected one singular shade to see her through both events<\/a>, opting for caramel milk or dulce de leche toned shade of light brown.<\/p>\n

At the 96th Academy Awards, the light hue provided dimension against her charcoal chainmail column dress and complemented the gilded accents of her gold-and-diamond croissant bracelet from Fred Leighton.<\/p>\n

At the after party, the shade blended in perfectly against the amber crystals embellished onto the corset and made the satin throw she wore around her wrists even sweeter.<\/p>\n

Unlike Robbie\u2019s SAG manicure<\/a>, the shade isn\u2019t a specific cocktail of nail polishes made specifically for the LuckyChap co-founder. Rather, a singular shade you can pick up from any Chanel Beauty boutique for under $50. As the manicure came courtesy of the French beauty maison, many have been quick to dub this day-to-night transitional shade as a \u201ccreme br\u00fbl\u00e9e\u201d colour\u2014one that would fare well against the viral latte<\/a> and espresso makeup trends<\/a> that have been circulating the internet recently.<\/p>\n

Luckily for us, Robbie\u2019s nail artist and resident Chanel Nail Artist, Betina Goldstein, shared a step-by-step guide to easily achieve the Hollywood look from home. After the marathon of awards season, treating your digits to a salon-worthy upgrade ripped straight from the clutches of Hollywood\u2019s elite feels justified. This Barbie is copying that look.<\/p>\n

How To Achieve Margot Robbie\u2019s Creme Br\u00fbl\u00e9e Nails From The 2024 Oscars<\/h5>\n

\u201cFor Margot\u2019s nails I wanted a colour to compliment the brown tones of her dress, but still feel light and modern,\u201d Goldstein explained. \u201cI love the balanced tones of warm caramel in Chanel Le Vernis L\u00e9gende.\u201d<\/p>\n

To begin, apply a thin coat of La Base (made with camellia oil) to fortify, protect and smooth the natural nail bed before slicking on a couple of layers of the long wear nail polish Le Vernis in the shade \u2018L\u00e9gende\u2019. Finish with a lacquer of Le Gel Top Coat for an extra injection of shine and plump in your manicure.<\/p>\n

Expert Tip: Apply Chanel\u2019s Baume Essentiel multi-use glow stick in the shade \u2018Mermaid Glow\u2019 to the lengths of your fingertips for a glimmer of pearlescent flush to enhance the radiance of your manicure.<\/span><\/p>\n
