With her cool style and genetic gifts, it’s obvious that Kaia Gerber<\/a> could wear a tea cozy and make it chic. But, while we’re incredibly aware of her apparent advantages when it comes to appearance, we can’t help clamoring to emulate her anyway. Case in point \u2013 her latest look, which saw the young supermodel go long.<\/p>\n

Posting the picture to her Instagram, Gerber swapped her choppy crop for a new relaxed, XXL-length mane as part of the virtual front row for Saint Laurent<\/a>‘s fantastical Summer21 show<\/a>. It’s a stark departure from the supermodel’s usual hairstyle, which became a trend in and of itself \u2013 a short, sharp style that sent women everywhere to the salon.<\/p>\n

And while this time Gerber stopped short of getting extensions by employing the use of a wig, just like her effortless French girl bob did previously, we’re once again inspired by Gerber’s latest look. While shorter hairstyles have been largely favored by the fashion crowd in recent seasons, longer lengths are making their way back to the popularity they once enjoyed. Other style names\u00a0 embracing similar cuts include Scandi influencer, Pernille Teisbaek<\/a>, and Gigi Hadid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gerber chose to debut the style in her head-to-toe Saint Laurent Summer 21 look, featuring ribbed leggings, sheer black tights and a cropped leather jacket, with a small bag chained around her waist.<\/p>\n

Her long locks lend the entire ensemble a decidedly biker-girl edge, as if Gerber had just let it out of a bedtime braid and strode outside to mount a Harley. The ends of the hair are left loose, as if they were air-dried several days earlier. It\u2019s the casual insouciance that sells it to us, so we\u2019ll be making an appointment with a hair extension stylist, pronto!<\/p>\n
