In case you haven’t seen it on social media yet, the butterfly cut is trending right now.<\/strong> Anybody with short hair is loving it.<\/p>\n

When we talk about the butterfly cut for short hair, we refer to the timeless medium or short bob with clear inspiration from the 1970<\/strong>s, featuring shorter layers in the front while the lengths are diagonally cut to a point at the ends.<\/p>\n

Generally, this type of cut – the butterfly – has always required long hair as a base to start from; however, even a medium length works very well for this type of layering<\/strong> that loses some length in the front.<\/p>\n

As always, the important thing is to customize the cut<\/strong> in the best way possible. But why try it even on bobs or long bobs?<\/p>\n
