(Her floppy beret! Straight from a Helmut Lang store knits! The other being the enviable setting of picturesque Notting Hill and her screen partner, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/hugh-grant-ashley-graham-oscars\/\">Hugh Grant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But what we didn\u2019t know those 20 odd years ago is that the reason for the clothing\u2019s inherently familiarity was due to the costuming coming from Roberts\u2019 own wardrobe. Now, 23 years since the film\u2019s release, Roberts has reflected on the beloved role, revealing for the first time the hidden part she played in breathing life (<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/julia-roberts-leave-the-world-behind-premiere\/\">and style<\/a>!) into Scott.<\/p>\n<p>In a rare conversation with the film\u2019s screenwriter Richard Curtis, Roberts shared that the film\u2019s unforgettable climax\u2014which, for the uninitiated is when Scott returns to William Thacker\u2019s flailing travel bookstore to declare, \u201cI\u2019m just a girl, standing in front of boy, asking him to lover her\u201d\u2014almost had an entirely different aesthetic.
