If you needed further evidence that the flies on the walls of the Beverly Hilton Hotel<\/a> had the best seats at the 2024 Golden Globes<\/a>, TikTok\u2019s lip readers have just delivered it. <\/span><\/p>\n

We rarely get intel into what the illustrious A-listers discuss during the commercial breaks between the ceremonial proceedings<\/a>. Yet, one eagle-eyed cameraperson caught wind of hushed whispers between Selena Gomez<\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/a>, promptly filming the interaction for our entertainment (and deciphering).<\/span><\/p>\n

Gomez, who was nominated<\/a> for \u2018Best Actress\u2019 in a television series for her performance in <\/span>Only Murders In The Building<\/a>, <\/span><\/i>was captured indulging Swift, who was up for a \u201c<\/span>cinematic and box office achievement\u201d award thanks to the success of her Eras Tour concert film, in some hot of the press news. <\/span><\/p>\n

It appeared like Gomez was filling Swift and her plus one, Miles Teller\u2019s wife Keleigh Sperry, in on a drama-laden interaction that just occurred. No audio was recorded with the clip, but Swift and Sperry\u2019s reactions said it all: tea was spilt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Netizens were quick to assume what was being discussed. <\/span>The leading theory was that Kylie Jenner<\/a> forbade Gomez from taking a selfie with Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>. (Gomez and Chalamet appeared in the 2019 film <\/span>A Rainy Day in New York<\/span><\/i>). <\/span><\/p>\n

Sperry appeared to say \u201cTimoth\u00e9e?!\u201d in response to what Gomez whispered in Swift\u2019s ear, with the former Disney star nodding knowingly. <\/span>It was arguably the biggest pop culture moment from the evening\u2014and one that mightn\u2019t have happened without a nifty piece of camerawork. <\/span><\/p>\n

But did Gomez and Swift talk about Chalamet and Jenner? Lip readers say yes, but sources close to Gomez say no. <\/span><\/p>\n

I<\/span>n a new report from <\/span>People<\/span><\/i><\/a>, an insider vehemently denied that Gomez ever discussed her former co-star and his new beau. “She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timoth\u00e9e or Kylie,” the source said, debunking rampant speculation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The source added that the multi-hyphenate, who recently made her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco<\/a> public, \u201cnever even saw or spoke to them\u201d. So, what was discussed then? <\/span><\/p>\n
