It seems like every day on TikTok<\/em><\/a>, there are new beauty trends<\/a> to be discovered. It is hard to imagine the platform as it is without these almost daily whims. This viral social media technique was revealed by Teen Vogue<\/em>. This “white makeup”<\/em> trend involves using an oily white base (the same one you use for Halloween) under your foundation in order to create a clean, flawless complexion.<\/p>\n

The “White Makeup” Trend<\/h2>\n

To achieve the desired effect, begin by applying a base of white oily makeup to your face (don’t be surprised if you look like Casper the Ghost!) Then, proceed with your regular makeup routine, using the darkest shade of foundation you have. Apply concealer, contour, and blush as usual. The objective is to attain a final appearance that resembles a stunning and captivating Instagram filter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This technique has been popular for a while; however, it went viral because of makeup artist Mireya Rios, who revealed it while experimenting.<\/p>\n

In the viral Tiktok video, the makeup artist starts off skeptical, but the final result is undeniable. The layers might appear heavy or cakey, but they yield quite amazing results when they are combined together.
