Rihanna is never one to shy away from bold accessories, and with her latest look, she dresses up a casual night out look with signature stones. It’s well-documented that the musician has a penchant for pearls<\/a>. Whether she’s dressed in vintage Chanel<\/a> or performng at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show<\/a>, the 35-year-old has made her love of the retro accessory known. And now, she’s taken the look to a whole new level.<\/p>\n

In Los Angeles last night, the star was photographed arriving at Jay-Z\u2019s Roc Nation office wearing the perfect winter going-out ensemble. With her new honey-blonde hair in a top bun, she stunned in a double-breasted overcoat by Junya Watanabe, a lingerie-style top by Khaite<\/a>, and extra baggy, low-rise jeans<\/a> from Agolde. She naturally opted for her Fenty x Puma creeper sneakers for footwear.<\/p>\n

But the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance? Her statement layers of pearls that draped her neck and d\u00e9colletage.<\/p>\n

The starring jewellery piece (seen in photographs here<\/a>) was a multi-strand choker style necklace\u2014an archival Christian Dior piece from John Galliano\u2019s Spring 1997\u00a0Haute Couture show. It’s speculated that it might be the very one that just sold on 1stDibs<\/a> for a whopping $18,500.<\/p>\n

Riri isn’t the only one who’s enjoyed archive Dior bling. In a poetic twist, supermodel Gigi Hadid<\/a> wore the same layered choker to attend Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show<\/a> Vol. 3 in September 2021. It looks like great minds think alike.<\/p>\n
