More than half a century after its founder became the first couturier to open a ready-to-wear boutique at 21 Rue de Tournon in Paris’s 6th arrondissement, Saint Laurent unveils its latest brick-and-mortar chapter. Much has changed about Paris, the brand and the ways we shop since 1966, but creative director Anthony Vaccarello<\/a> has thoughtfully exacted his predecessor’s vision with a modern persuasion.<\/p>\n

In a historic building on the iconic Avenue des Champs-E\u0301lyse\u0301es in Paris, the house now opens the doors to its largest flagship. With this fresh space, Vaccarello introduces an entirely new design concept rooted in his innate curiosity and desire for discovery.<\/p>\n

Though it’s no easy feat to carve your own way at the world’s most emblematic address, the visionary has masterfully curated a sprawling boutique that celebrates its namesake and its legacy locale in every detail.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to realise one of Yves Saint Laurent\u2019s wishes when he arrived in Paris and said he wanted his name to be written in fiery letters on the Champs-E\u0301lyse\u0301es,\u201d Vaccarello said of his inspiration.<\/p>\n

Beneath its restored Haussmannian facade, the building houses Saint Laurent\u2019s latest interpretation of modern luxury. With striking interior features, a series of stylised spaces flow naturally, creating an engaging experience for visitors. Throughout this vast space, an exciting play between industrial materials, soft textures, and precise arrangements generates a new world of wonder.<\/p>\n

At once raw and refined, the elegant design guides visitors through distinct rooms unified by a shared sense of perspective. Marble displays frame the brand\u2019s collection items as precious objects while encouraging clients to engage with the products on view.<\/p>\n

Among the boutique\u2019s many highlights is a double-height foyer featuring a neon light sculpture by artist Cerith Wyn Evans<\/a>, commissioned by Saint Laurent. Various sensuous surfaces and stoic curving staircases in black-lacquered wood become an instant fixture, and a serene private garden accessible to clients will no doubt be a must-visit for the house’s ardent fans.<\/p>\n

The house\u2019s complete offering will be available at the Champs-E\u0301lyse\u0301es boutique, including men\u2019s and women\u2019s ready-to-wear, handbags<\/a>, shoes, accessories, and fine jewellery<\/a>. A unique assortment of items has been curated for the space, reflecting its elevated nature and prominent status as the ultimate destination for luxury shoppers.<\/p>\n
