In the heart of Washington, D.C., a crescendo of anticipation is building as the celebrated musician and LGBTQ+ advocate, Laura Pergolizzi \u2014 known as LP \u2014 prepares to grace The Anthem tonight, November 7, with their electrifying presence. “I believe in people. I think when you come up to me, my energy says just that. I\u2019m about love and connection with people through that and I don\u2019t really have time for a bunch of dudes that think they own the land or people or anything. \u2026 You don\u2019t own s\u2014,” LP shared in an interview with\u00a0WTOP’s entertainment reporter<\/a>, Jason Fraley.<\/p>\n

As we look forward to their upcoming performance at The Anthem, LP’s excitement is palpable. “We\u2019re playing that whole album, which feels really good,” LP told WTOP. “There\u2019s just a freshness, like a freedom to it somehow. There\u2019s always kind of a looking within vibe, but this one in particular it feels more so than usual, but there\u2019s also something really easy about it. I mean, it\u2019s the first record I\u2019ve ever written single. \u2026 You\u2019ll definitely hear some Lost on You<\/em> for sure, but we\u2019re rotating in all kinds of songs. \u2026 I sprinkle in the hits.”<\/p>\n
